The Saga of Hapworth 16
A small publisher set out to publish the last J. D. Salinger story, originally run in The New Yorker, as a book. The saga is remarkable. "I confessed that my distribution wasn’t great. He told me, 'Nothing would make me happier than not to see my book in the Dartmouth Bookstore.' Distributed but not distributed!
