I Me Mine?

This is not shocking, unfortunately. It probably just proves what most of us thought, that people are getting more selfish these days. Or at least that's true when it comes to our music. And the popular arts both reflect what we think and, if some researchers are correct, they may also direct what we think. It's food for thought. 'The researchers found the use of first-person plural pronouns (we, us, our) declined over the years, while the use of first-person singular pronouns (I, me, mine) increased.
