Fantasy opera costumes

Fashion is not normally our beat, but this is something special. The New York City Opera holds an annual sale for its donors, offering new and vintage designer merchandise to raise funds. For this year's event, some famous designers drew sketches of fantasy outfits for their favorite opera characters.
